Analysts: Congress may hold off on U.S. health care reform

Efforts to overhaul the U.S. health care system are likely to stall in Congress, as lawmakers continue investigating drugmakers and health insurers for allegedly violating standards on marketing practices. Congress may attempt gradual changes such as boosting spending on health information technology, but "it's virtually impossible to do major reform in the next year," said Dan Mendelson, president of Avalere Health.
