Auto 401(k) participants stay in the game

As many as 90% of workers enrolled in automatic 401(k) plans have kept their funds invested and avoided making sudden investment choice shifts in the current economic downturn. "[Investor] apathy is helping them in this case," said Scott Pritchard, a managing director of Capital Directions Investment Advisors LLC. Participants in the plans are also keeping the same contribution levels.
