McDonald's reaches settlement with Madison, Wis., officials about sign visibility

McDonald's representatives asserted that a bridge that stretches over East Washington Avenue in Madison, Wis., blocked motorists' view of a McDonald's location's sign, which may have resulted in a loss of business. Madison Board of Estimates members have agreed to pay the quickservice company $312,000 to settle the lawsuit.
