Acer, ViewSonic sign Android patent deals with Microsoft

Microsoft, looking to continue to profit from its strategy of signing licensing deals with cellphone makers who use Android software, has signed patent deals with Acer and ViewSonic for the vendors to pay royalties from their wireless devices. Neither Acer nor ViewSonic commented on the agreements.
