Esquire Network will now replace Style instead of G4

NBCUniversal is retooling its female-facing Style Network into its new men's lifestyle channel Esquire Network, an about-face from the planned use of G4 as Esquire's base. The move comes just two weeks before the Esquire launch and potentially expands the channel's distribution by an additional 13 million subscribers. Style saw a viewership drop of 20.3% in the first half of 2013 and significantly lags behind competitors such as Bravo.
