Fed criticizes stress-test efforts of large banks

Large banks are being too optimistic and lack attention to detail in documenting their efforts, which is hurting the stress-testing process, says the Federal Reserve. The Fed says all 18 major banks are missing the mark set by the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review. Areas cited as a concern include capital decisions, uninformed senior management of stress-test details and a lack of benchmarks.
