Quinn makes campaign push with Stonewall rally

New York City mayoral candidate Christine Quinn addressed more than 200 supporters outside the historic Stonewall Inn on Friday night at a rally to kick off her campaign's final push before today's Democratic primary. Quinn, vying to become the city's first woman and openly lesbian mayor, described her candidacy as part of the larger LGBT rights movement. "We're moving forward because nobody has ever handed our community anything," Quinn said. "We got there by organizing, by joining with our allies, by educating, and by pushing forward. And that's what we're going to do until Tuesday."
