IT workers are benefiting from high demand for their skill sets in Boston and San Francisco, where the availability of workers falls short of demand, according to a Federal Reserve report. On a nationwide scale, however, a survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers found that the average starting salary for computer science graduates was down 2.5% this year.
