Mayo Clinic puts virtual ICUs in 6 of its hospitals

Mayo Clinic Health System will install ICU monitoring systems in six of its hospitals, with the main monitoring center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The monitoring unit will be staffed by registered nurses who will have a critical care physician available for remote consults at night.
