Online-education provider targets career training

Education startup Udacity is spearheading an initiative to provide learning opportunities that are aligned with workforce needs. Udacity founder Sebastian Thrun recently announced the development of the Open Education Alliance -- a partnership with companies such as Google and AT&T. The group seeks to take the massive open online course concept and use it to provide career training.
