House Republicans have released a short-term resolution that would provide for federal government spending through Dec. 15 and require lawmakers to address 2014 spending early that month. The measure comes with a concurrent resolution that would remove funding for the Affordable Care Act. The two resolutions may see a House vote Thursday and could then be considered separately in the Senate, this article says.
