Zippo partners with Bandsintown on virtual, artist-branded lighters

Illuminated phones have replaced cigarette lighters as the crowd glow for power ballads and sentimental songs at live venues, so Zippo is going digital to bridge the two. Zippo has joined with Bandsintown, a concert promotion application with 30 million monthly users, to build virtual iOS and Android lighters and sell artist-branded Zippos.
