Microsoft offers telecoms ad-platform glimpse

Microsoft is beginning to give clients a demonstration of its Mediaroom Advertising Platform, which gives telecoms the ability to serve up highly targeted, interactive advertising via set-top boxes and other IPTV platforms. Clients, which should be able to fully roll out the service in 2009, so far include AT&T, British Telecom and Deutsche Telekom.
