Monsanto: Corn lines' genetic blueprint may help improve seeds

Monsanto has developed a genetic blueprint for its female corn lines by using DNA sequencing techniques and information from the maize genome project. The breakthrough may prove useful in producing better-performing corn seeds, the company said.
