Scripps will launch branded mobile-TV apps for 9 markets

Media company E.W. Scripps, which owns television stations in nine markets, will launch a streaming-video service that will allow viewers to access content on mobile devices with operating systems from Apple, Google and Research In Motion. The service is powered by technology from EndPlay, and will allow each station to maintain its own branded application.
