Australia is facing some obstacles in its rollout of a new national curriculum, including concerns that its teachers will not be prepared to implement the new standards. The plan is to introduce four subjects of the new curriculum -- English, maths, history and science -- to schools by the end of 2013. New South Wales has decided to delay its implementation of the curriculum to better prepare teachers.
