Paralympic “blade runners” draw attention to Iceland's Ossur

Ossur, one of Iceland’s largest and most successful companies, offers economic hope to a small nation that suffered a severe financial crisis four years ago. The recent Paralympics highlighted its role as a major provider of prosthetic limbs for athletic use. South African runner Oscar Pistorius, also known as the "blade runner" because of the appearance of his prostheses, wears carbon fiber prosthetic legs made by Ossur.
