Duke Energy presents wind-power proposal to Ky. county residents

Duke Energy gave a public presentation in Fleming County, Ky., regarding its plan to build a wind farm that would stretch from Fleming to adjoining Mason County. The project could have between 26 and 100 turbines, with a combined capacity to generate about 70 to 150 megawatts of power, said Graham Furlong, director of business management at Duke Energy. Work on the project could start between 2016 and 2019, Furlong said.
