Global Hawk drones track Atlantic storms

Two decommissioned Global Hawk drones have a new mission, this time for NASA: Tracking storms that brew over the Atlantic Ocean and determining how scientists can better predict storm development. The drones, which can stay aloft 28 hours at a time, began the hurricane study last month and will continue through Sept. 23.
