Ill. schools consider best approach to online learning

Five Illinois school districts are considering adding virtual-education programs to better serve students' diverse needs and offer more learning options for families. An official in one district, where online learning programs as well as blended-learning programs are being considered, said either approach would include some in-person contact with teachers. The five districts are working together to explore the possibilities but are each reserving the option to continue on their own.
