Mold prompts recall of 5,000 vials of J&J's Risperdal Consta

Johnson & Johnson recalled an estimated 5,000 of the 70,000 vials of antipsychotic drug Risperdal Consta manufactured in one lot last year after testing positive for Alternaria alternata mold during routine quality inspection. The products must be pulled because they remain unused in pharmacies, community mental health centers and doctor's offices.
