Putin: U.S. can avoid military strike in Syria

The U.S. must seize its chance to avoid military action in Syria by continuing dialogue it's begun with Russia, writes Russian President Vladimir Putin. "It is alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign countries has become commonplace for the United States," Putin writes in this op-ed. "Is it in America's long-term interest? I doubt it."
