Regulatory changes needed to promote offshore wind power in Southeast, experts say

The Southeast has tremendous offshore wind resources, but regulatory changes are needed to spur development, industry experts said at the Southeastern Coastal Wind Conference in South Carolina. "I would say the Southeast got a little later start in looking at offshore compared to the rest of the East Coast, but it's quickly catching up," said Brian O'Hara, president of the Southeastern Coastal Wind Coalition.
