Researchers test skin cancer drug for Alzheimer's treatment

A landmark study is being conducted in Las Vegas to determine the effect of bexarotene, an established skin cancer drug, on patients with Alzheimer's disease. The trial was initiated after the drug was linked to cognitive improvements in mice. Patients will undergo brain imaging to assess changes in their neurological condition.
