Analysis: UK primary-school classes larger than world average

Primary-school class sizes in the United Kingdom are higher than the average in developed countries, according to a report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. The average class size in UK primary schools was 26 in 2009 -- compared to the average of 21 in 35 other countries.
