FEC's $72M intermodal project to connect rail, ship operations

Florida East Coast Railway's $72 million intermodal project in Port Everglades, Fla., is expected to provide smoother operations and handling of international intermodal cargo between railroads and shipping vessels. "The reason for building the facility is to attract more cargo through Port Everglades," said Husein Cumber, FEC executive vice president for corporate development.
