Data seen driving modern maintenance

In the few years since he was chairman of the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals in 2005-2006, Chuck Armbruster says, maintenance has changed considerably due to much greater accessibility of information "because of the Internet, digital files and comprehensive work order attachments." As a result, he says, more maintenance decisions and strategies are now driven by data.
