Tech firms are readying next-gen browsers

Many tech companies, including Microsoft and Google, are working to tap into the latest graphics capabilities to create super-charged Web browsers. The "hardware acceleration" technology is expected to revolutionize the way some sites present images and video, developers say. Microsoft says the feature will help power the look of its Internet Explorer 9, which debuts today.
