CMS to create database to support ACO program

The CMS has announced plans to build a database that will aid the accountable care organization initiative, composed of the Medicare Shared Savings Program and the Pioneer ACO Model. The system of records will store identifiable data on Medicare providers, patients and vendors participating in ACOs.
