Freescale expands line of low-power Kinetis MCUs

Freescale Semiconductor unveiled 60 devices in its line of 32-bit Kinetis microcontrollers, with sampling set to begin early next year. Based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor, the low-power MCUs are targeted at applications in consumer appliances, gaming headsets, factory automation, health care and USB microphones, among others.
