Many risk managers show "driver" and "evangelist" traits, study finds

Risk management is increasingly important for an organization's growth, and many risk managers are showing proactive traits in their rapidly evolving role, according to a study by Active Risk. While risk managers are commonly considered to have reactive-introvert traits including solid analytical skills, as much as 40% of them are either proactive introverts -- "drivers" who work to ensure the success of any risk-management project -- or proactive extroverts, "evangelists" who exhibit social skills and charm, the study found.
