Fiber networks are installed to improve school technology

Two Colorado school districts have installed high-speed fiber and hybrid copper/fiber networks to enhance school-technology capabilities. Both districts worked with Qwest Communications on the upgrades. In one district, the upgraded fiber network will allow for the consolidation and centralization of data systems, as well as new voice and data services and improved data security.
