Contract language and BIM: Key issues and possible solutions

This article provides guidelines about key issues in contract language related to BIM lifecycle data, and what owners can do to ensure that the contract terms are on target. One suggestion is to seek help from professionals and experts such as the Associated General Contractors of America or the American Institute of Architects, but ultimately, "[t]he most important thing to remember about BIM is it is a process, which gains strength from collaboration. Don’t try to figure it all out on your own," advise John Grady and Connor Christian, cofounders of the firm EpicBIM.
