Nevada approves $450 million for highway jobs

The state of Nevada approved $450 million for highway projects, including an estimated $240 million for a four-mile stretch of Interstate 15 from Tropicana Boulevard to the Blue Diamond Highway. Another project to be tackled is widening McCarran Boulevard in Reno from four to six lanes. The Nevada Transportation Board said all the projects will go out to bid this year.
