Arizona program seeks to meet demand for veterinarians

The Veterinary Science Certificate Program, launched this year at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, is designed to offer courses that prepare high-school students for college-level veterinary programs. The program, which includes courses in animal science and equine studies, aims to produce more veterinarians specializing in equine, small animal and livestock care in Arizona.
