California, Georgia get funding boost for telehealth projects

The Department of Commerce has awarded $482.4 million in federal grants to 35 initiatives nationwide designed to improve patient care, boost economic growth and create job opportunities. Among the grant recipients are the University of California, Davis, and the Georgia Partnership for Telehealth, which will use the funds to provide residents in their respective states with broadband access to care.
