Research has found that dynamic withdrawal strategies for retirement income, or those that change to incorporate actual experiences during retirement, can be more effective than static approaches. David M. Blanchett, head of retirement research at Morningstar Investment Management, offers two formulas that advisers can use to create a dynamic withdrawal strategy without the use of complex software or other tools.
