Hospital project yields 16% decline in infection rates

A project by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality known as "On the CUSP: Stop CAUTI" was associated with a 16.1% decline in baseline catheter-associated urinary tract infections. The findings were based on data from more than 850 hospitals that participated in the program.
