Ranbaxy recruits Giuliani to sort out FDA ban:

Ranbaxy Laboratories tapped former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his consulting company to handle the FDA's import ban on about 30 of the drugmaker's generic treatments. The agency imposed the ban after discovering manufacturing violations in two of Ranbaxy's plants in India. The company said it "is committed to a swift resolution to address these issues."
