Expert: Natural gas firms should push CNG as car fuel

Natural gas firms should focus on developing compressed natural gas as a fuel for vehicles in order to reduce dependence on foreign oil and keep natural gas prices from dropping, said Gary Stewart, an energy-industry analyst. "The U.S. is going to have an oversupply of natural gas for years to come. The natural gas industry needs to focus on the transportation sector," he said last week at the Wyoming Natural Gas Fair in Jackson, Wyo.
