Robin Doyle, co-chairwoman of LEI Trade Association Group and senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase, is a leading expert on legal-entity identifiers. LEIs allow accurate identification of legal entities engaged in financial transactions. There is no universal system for identifying legal entities that participate in financial markets, but Doyle said the financial services industry is working with regulators to create a single, global LEI standard that would be the internationally recognized data standard for all identification of legal entities.
