Stage 2 of MU will bring "incredible progress," Mostashari says

The federal meaningful use program has made great strides, said National Health IT Coordinator Dr. Farzad Mostashari, and stage 2 of the initiative will see even more "incredible progress," with about $20 billion in EHR incentives likely to be paid out by 2015. Speaking at a conference, Mostashari also expressed optimism that congressional support for the HIT effort will continue after the election.
