Comcast ramps up speeds for "Extreme" residential broadband

Comcast has boosted the top speed for its "Extreme" residential broadband tier to 505 Mbps on the downstream and 100 Mbps on the upstream. The service, which previously offered speeds of 305 Mbps on the downstream and 65 Mbps on the upstream, reportedly is keeping the same price of $299.95 a month.
