Fed expected to announce slight easing of QE3

The Federal Reserve is expected to announce today that it will begin shrinking its quantitative easing program, cutting it slightly while also stressing that interest rates will remain near zero for a while yet. Economists expect the bond-buying program to be cut from $85 billion a month to $75 billion, easing the economy into the change.
