San Francisco hotel market improving

The San Francisco hotel market is entering its third consecutive year of growth and recovery, with occupancy rates and room rates both on the upswing, despite threats of boycotts. Convention bookings and increased passenger traffic at San Francisco International Airport account for some of the boost, but some hoteliers are still concerned because RevPAR rates lagged behind other major markets.
