Survey: Companies are lax on enterprise risk management

Nearly half of U.S. companies polled said they have no plans to develop an enterprise risk management strategy, according to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. The lack of interest could stem from concerns about the size and complexity of the projects as well as a need for more executive leadership, experts say.
