Big-box retailers downsize square footage

Large, outsized retail stores are losing favor in the industry even among big-box retailers. Wal-Mart, for example, is building smaller versions of its supercenters. Best Buy, Office Depot, Target, Kohl's and J.C. Penney are also downsizing.
