Flowers, fruit and dew sell message of freshness

Marketers convey the message of freshness through methods such as spraying dew droplets on produce, placing flowers near the grocery entrance and putting images of produce on packaging. Health and beauty products add fruit scents, shampoo adds bubble volume and banana companies grow the fruit so it attains a specific color, all to boost the perception of freshness.
