Lawmakers might reintroduce e-prescribing proposal in Ore.

A bill to legalize e-prescriptions of Schedule II treatments in Oregon will be reintroduced in the state Legislature, according to reports. The proposal would potentially decrease medication errors and limit the opportunity for fraud by patients, since the prescriptions would be sent through patient EHRs. Drugs covered in the bill include opiates, painkillers and stimulants.
