From "yappy hour" to "pet-icures," hotels are opening the doggy door

As more hotels become pet-friendly, many are looking for ways to pamper those pets, including blessing them and offering "pet-icures" and pet sitting services. At Mexico's Viceroy Riviera Maya, pets are blessed by a shaman and the Kimpton chain even offers "yappy hours" where pets and their owners can mingle with others over a cocktail. "The more fun people have in our hotels the more likely they are to talk about us, the more likely they are to come back," said Kimpton's Mike DeFrino.
